Product gates, bottle control and reject mechanisms
No. A product gate holds or releases solid units in the product path. A bottle-indexing element controls containers, while a reject mechanism diverts selected products or bottles. Identify the object moved by each device.
Some configurations separate upstream portioning from final discharge, using sequenced shutters to hold products while bottles change. Identify each gate’s location and function rather than relying on the generic label “gate”.
Does an open-gate signal prove the dose entered the bottle?
It describes the observed or commanded gate state, depending on the signal. It is not itself a reference count of bottle contents. Product must still pass through the transfer path into the intended receiver.
For integration, identify what permits release, which receiving-bottle position is required and what downstream outcome is observed. Gate movement, sensing and passage through a funnel are separate events. Their sequence belongs to the actual machine’s documented controls.
